Two stars because the location and decor were nice, and the cocktails and tomato pasta were delicious.

Unfortunately, they don’t really seem to understand what gastronomy truly means here. Due to a ChatGPT translation misunderstanding (the menu is only in French), we ended up with a cheeseburger instead of a hamburger. My son doesn’t eat cheese, so we kindly asked if we could get just a new bun, so we could assemble it ourselves with the meat.

That was not possible.

Not even for an adjusted price of, say, €5. The only option was to order the entire dish again and pay another €23. Since we weren’t willing to spend €46 for a simple hamburger, we didn’t, and we were left with a hungry son and a bad taste from the service.

We had also specifically asked for the goat cheese salad to be without meat (vegetarian), which was clearly confirmed. Yet it still came with pieces of bacon. The salad itself was also quite bland in flavor—though that may be personal taste. (A drizzle of honey and some dressing could have made a big difference!)

All in all, you pay a considerable price for a nice spot, but with staff who don’t really seem interested in making sure guests (or perhaps just tourists) enjoy their...

The place is very good, the food is excellent. There are four of us and for 5 days we have left about 1000€ for lunch and an umbrella. On the second and last day, a young man with glasses and many tattoos served us: it turned out that he lied a lot - he set conditions to order more food - even though we have two children. He refused to give us a selection of ice cream from the freezer so we could order an expensive dessert. He explained to us that for lunch I cannot order a second children's menu for a 13-year-old child (to pay more). He refused to accept a three course order because there were four of us, he ended up lying to us that he didn't have a takeaway box and took away the food that was left……horror! We left angry without ordering dessert. We remain disappointed from today, we are unlikely to go there again. The rest of the staff is good, it's clear that everything is done for money…..but people are not stupid. I also have reservations about the cleanliness of the beach that they manage: headscarves, towels and garbage stood for 4-5 days and did not make an impression on the guys with the drinks who served the tables. B.R Koko reservation :...

I don't even know where to begin. Main point: the service is far below standard and since it's pretty much the only place around for food or drinks, it seem they are getting away with it.

We were seated for lunch, by a waiter, waiting from some friends to arrive. 10 minutes later we are informed with a smile the kitchen closes soon but we can order from the snack menu after. Bit strange if you seat us for lunch but ok, sure no problem. Friends arrive, try to order, kitchen closed for another 30 minutes. We waited an hour without any news, our ordered drinks never arrived and when we asked a man, seemingly the manager, he annoyingly looked for 'staff' to service us. Eventually a kitchen employee on their way informed us the kitchen was closed. The bill contained the wrong drinks, no apology, no communication....

Fabulous location, as it says, right on the beach. Very good food (including one of the best hamburgers!) and drinks. Service is swift. We have seen comments about the staff not being polite and being unfriendly. This has not been our experience. It is a busy place., normally lots of tables very close together, and the staff need to work fast. However, this week was the first time we have been this year post confinement. Previously the tables were very close together and now they are a good distance apart. We think that fewer tables and more space makes it more pleasant to eat there and takes some pressure off the staff. Highly recommended but you must book at key times.

We arrived in the late afternoon and had desert first. The staff were very friendly. We ordered the Crepe with ice cream, strawberry and Nutella - these were absolutely excellent. Then we played on the beach with a soccer ball for about an hour before using the cold showers to wash sand from our feet - I ordered the semi-cooked salmon (which i would rate as fully cooked), the Angus steak (not bad, but not also out of this world - as expected), and monica had shrimps in linguine with cognac - excellent. Overall we totally enjoyed our experience here and I’d recommend the place.
