We booked at short notice for a very rainy Sunday evening. There was no unoccupied parking outside the restaurant but we parked in the car park of the Salle des Fetes (30m down the hill) and this did not appear to be a problem. The restaurant was pretty much full but the service was excellent (we were served by the same person throughout). His advice and explanations were most helpful. One of us is a pescatarian and we had checked, in advance, if this would be a problem and were assured that it would not be: it wasn't. We started with hummus with dill oil and for the entrees we had labneh and sardines and gazpacho with moules. We both had cod for the main plat - all washed down with a very local Saint-Romain white. The food was well presented and full of flavours. We would highly recommend...

The food here is magical, every bite! We are vacationing in Burgundy, and the owner of our Airbnb referred us to Bistrot des Falaises. We came here after a few days in Paris, so to say we’ve been eating well this past week, would be an understatement. Bistrot des Falaises is hands down the best dining experience we’ve had in France on this trip. It’s a seasonal menu, but I ordered a zucchini pasta as a starter, the trout as an entree, and a cherry clafoutis for dessert. The entire service team is friendly and helpful, but we mostly communicated with Jordan, and the atmosphere is airy and comfortable. We did reach out in advance to reserve as it’s their busy season. My only regret is they are so far from New Jersey, because I would love to bring all my friends and...

We are fortunate enough to have a house only fifteen minutes away from this excellent restaurant and, ever since we discovered it, we eat there as often as we can. The cuisine is creative and innovative and, extraordinarily, manages to succeed with virtually all its creations. This makes dining here an exciting experience. Add to that, the cosy ambience and the friendly and helpful service of Jordan and Clement, and you have a restaurant well worth a visit. The wines are pretty good too and the price is very good value, particularly when compared to other local restaurants with similar aspirations, but without the good fortune of having Bertrand Guercier in...

A nice cozy bistro in the village. It has an interesting concept.(locally sourced menu as far as applicable) you really get to know which meat ,fish, vegetable came from where, cooking method used seasoning etc. The menu is divided into 4 parts.(you get to share the first course,as it's more like a small starter snack) . but don't let the 4 parts deceive you, the courses are well rounded middle portions yet they do satiate. It also has a nice selection of wines locally and regionally produced. Organic drinks alkoholic and non-alcoholic round up the drinks menu. Add the friendly staff and you get a high quality establishment. I can highly recommend.
