I was also recommended here by the proprietor of the vineyard at which I am staying. He described the food as classic and authentic to the region, as opposed to the food for tourists served at many local restaurants.
I started with a local wine, though the list was expansive. As my first appetizer, I ordered escargot, which were prepared perfectly. My second appetizer was a warm shrimp salad with ham, which was quite pleasant as well.
For the main course I had to get ris de veau, veal sweetbreads, even though I was tempted by the many grilled meat options. I'm glad I did; this was the best version of ris de veau I've ever had, any enhanced by the vegetables and house potatoes.

A very decent wine list here with some slightly older wines - a rarity in the region. And well chosen less well-known producers too. You probably won't need a dessert, even the salad starters are hearty but well recommended. Worth the 20 minute drive from Beaune, especially if you're trying to avoid the wine trade...
