I cannot rate high enough, our experience was superb! The service was a step above - very friendly, attentive, and lightning fast, we were very well cared for. My family and I stayed for food and every dish was fantastic and great value; from the mussels to the beef bourguignon special, every one was a winner. I had the bacon cheeseburger and it was one if not the best burger I’ve ever had. We’re staying in the next village over and only came upon the venue by chance; we were going to try somewhere else later in the week, but we’ve decided to change our plans so we can come back, we enjoyed it...

This place is the absolute highlight of Lalinde and the Dordogne. Great variation of drinks alcoholic and non-alcoholic. And an amazing menu for lunch and dinner. Friendly young staff but the older one got angry in a loud voice when we pointed to the large pieces of crusts of bread under our table. He said in a loud voice:"I cannot sweep if the square is occupied!" Instead of: I am sorry, I will clean the floor". The square was not occupied at all that time. We got reluctantly another table for dinner. Furthermore the arrogant (new) owner accepted my tip of €10 as if I did not tip at all. Also the food was too salty. But it is a wonderful place to sit...
