Wifi NOT TRIED Ensuite BATHROOM N/A FOOD OFFERING An extensive menu. With a menu of the day. The ladies had the MDJ. I ordered an Omelette de Cep, a good test of a chef. Our drinks order was taken, and drinks provided promptly. Their starter was a nice salad. Their main dish was a braised pork dish with chorizo. Their dessert was flexible, and they had chosen a chocolate fondant.
My Omelette de Cep was perfect.
There were lots of menu choices. A page just for Pizza.
DEPARTURE No problem OVERALL An excellent first-time visit, we went, as a friend had strongly recommended it. this will not be our last visit. It appeared to be fully booked, and some local workmen came in after us and received the same pleasant welcome.

my son put a review here the first time we came for a meal so now its my turn. our last night in sauvebeuff before moving onto brittany. We had complimentary prawn tails for the table. Fillet Minot, salmon with rice, cote de beuff, salad, fries, pizza...all as good as the first time we came. a simple, hearty wholesome plate of food at a good price and washed down with plenty of grande glasses of beer. not open every day nor every lunchtime so check website first, then ring to book and hopefully you wont be disappointed...

What a gem of a brasserie, very peaceful and warm atmosphere, the food is amazing, the duck burger and sud-ouest salad in particular far exceeded expectations! It is run by the nicest young couple who work very hard to make this a great meal. The price is a steal, the way the Dordogne used to be, maybe that’s why so many locals fill the tables, and we have done so on multiple occasions as well. So reservations in the summer are a good idea, not that we have seen them turn anyone away, but for a good table it is...
