Chez Elle Et Lui — Restaurant in Besançon

Their food may be great, but the owner is not nice. We called and got an appointment with her to talk about wedding organization, but she was so unhappy that we came, turned out she was simply not informed by her coworkers about the appointment. Was it our fault? No. And then she did her best to show how unhappy she is about organizing a wedding, that we came so late (4! months in advance and she was free), that she can cook but that's it, she doesn't profit much from such events etc. Why why did she accept us then, why couldn't she just write us in the email "I don't organize weddings" ? We were all so upset and angry, it's literally the worst service ever. Maybe if you just go there to eat - it's great, but doing business with her...

The service was excellent. The atmosphere was nice and it was conveniently located near my hotel. It looked very good. The ceasar salad was good, and the ice cream was good, but the rest was pretty flavorless. I think the issue is that French food can be very elegant and beautiful and subtle, but if not cooked well can be extremely bland. Sorry for the bad review but it was expensive...

ayant diner hier soir dans ce restaurant pour une soirèe " vide frigo " avant la fermeture annuelle pour les vacances , j,ai été frappé par l'état de fatigue de la patronne et du personnel, qui en plus se trouve en sous effectif. je suis très contrarié par les commentaires dont je viens de prendre connaissance, et qui sont sans aucun doute écris par des personnes qui de toute évidence ne savent pas ce qu'est le travail et encore moins la cuisine . la preuve étant que ces avis désagréables ne sont jamais signés par un nom écrit clairement . je précise que je déjeune très souvent avec des amis épicuriens , dont un ancien patron des abattoirs de besançon ainsi que des anciens chirurgiens ou directeurs d,usines . je précise que ces personnes ont l'habitude des grands restaurants et sont beaucoup plus magnanimes que certains mauvais coucheurs . en conclusion , il est vrai qu'hier soir la chance n'était pas au rendez-vous , mais en aucun cas je ne dérogerai a mon habitude de déjeuner au restaurant "CHEZ ELLE " car jamais déçu ni par la cuisine , ni par le personnel ,alors les mauvais coucheurs de passage allez au diable...
