The entrees of smoked haddock with diced apple, shallots, fennel, and mozzarella and the ravioli with cheese in a stock with carrot, cabbage, mushroom, and ham were perfect. The courses of veal medallions with a red wine reduction over mashed potatoes and roasted rabbit over braised red cabbage and chestnuts was even better. I’ve got a rather large appetite, but I did not leave hungry. Amazing attention to detail, friendly service. The wine list is perfect – not encyclopaedic, but a great selection of wines from the area, at (very!) fair prices.

When we brought this to the owner’s attention, the response was dismissive — he said it was “1 in a 1000,” laughed it off, and still charged us for the dish.
This was not only disgusting and unacceptable, but also handled with a complete lack of professionalism or concern for customer safety. We left feeling appalled. The live worm was on the bill
