Today were in this restaurant. impressions are mixed. In rolls, they put me a piece of plastic tape. I showed it to the waiter (I don’t know how much plastic I could swallow before), the administrator apologized, brought us another dish as a treat (thanks of course, but we ordered everything we wanted), and as a result we paid the bill (for releasing one item from order). usually in restaurants of this level should firstly monitor the quality of the food served and if the kitchen allows such oversights, take dinner at the restaurant's expense. and it’s not that I didn’t want to pay, but this kind of situation happened to me in high-level restaurants and they with dignity came out of such cases. in order to pay, I was asked to get up and go to the place where the bank machine was working, in order to withdraw money from my card.
Well, the rest of the food that we ordered is very tasty, and such cases with plastic can happen with each client and cook, the human factor (I got a truffle grater bolt in a Michelin restaurant in risotto), another thing is how the administrator reacts in such cases and how to solve these problems. I wish you to improve...
Read moreDuring my visit to Megève in July, I had a great time at Kaito restaurant. When I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a perfect place for a nice evening out. The décor mixes traditional alpine style with a modern feel, creating a comfortable dining space.
The service was excellent and made our night even better. The staff was friendly and helpful, giving us great recommendations without being pushy. You could really see their love for the food and how they presented each dish.
Kaito's menu offers a wonderful mix of fusion dishes with a great balance of flavors. My favorite dish was the cod fish, which was cooked just right. It was light and tasty, paired with ingredients that really made it shine.
The wine and sake selection was impressive too, with many options that went well with our meals. The sommelier was also very helpful which made the experience even better.
Overall, my evening at Kaito was fantastic. I highly recommend it whether you're living in Megève or just visiting. The atmosphere, great service, and delicious dishes make it a place I can't wait...
Read moreTravel to Megeve for skiing and certainly make my dining experience here at Kaito Four Seasons for lunch with family on the first day of 2024. As a loyalty Four seasons Fan, dinning experience is always not my focus … from London 3 properties, Maldives 2 properties, Florence and Shanghai … it seems dinning experience at Four Seasons not giving too much expectation. Surprisingly Kaito is done ok with my orders A La cart, and € 144 set menu .. I do think Coriander prawn fried rice and Wagyu Beef at set menu are impressive; but Tempura octopus is not chewable.. kitchen redone for us. The service is highlight as it goes extremely smooth and pleasant .. even the waitress is only her 3 weeks there.. generally good dinning experience to light up my new year day! One more thing; if possible; please stop to serve burger and fries at Kaito Japanese restaurant. I always find it is not appropriate. Totally spending € 325 for 2 adults...
