Truly a GEM in Chamonix!! We came for the apple pie and ended up having not only dessert, but also lunch, coffee and a whole wonderful afternoon on the sunny terasse. The hike, the resulting view and all the dishes we tried were simply fantastic - you can feel that the chef enjoys their craft every bit of the way. Jessica lights up the place with her hospitality, smile and positive energy - thank you for a great time!! 100% worth a visit :)

After a strenuous hike, whether it's a brief jaunt or a lengthy trek, with kids in tow or solo, you'd naturally expect to find a spot on the trail where you can grab a bite or a drink. But forget that at this place—every table is booked! Can you believe you actually need reservations for a table on a hiking trail? I've visited twice, each time about a half-hour apart, only to find the "reserved" tables perpetually unoccupied. This establishment clearly doesn't value its customers. Your hard-earned money is better spent elsewhere, at a place that genuinely appreciates...

We stopped by during our short hike. This cottage is really really expensive for no reason. We visited many cottages all over the alps including those who get their delivery by helicopter and none was more expensive. 19€ for a bread baked with cheese? Wow!
