A must do when in Megève We love the fleur de courgettes and the risotto like Courgette dish. Apricot dessert is a must try also from super young and talented patisserie cheffe Tab was more than generous for the level of the food Will I return ? Anytime but it’s far from my bases

Nous avons déjeuner et diner au bistrot de l'onyx supervisé par le jeune chef talentueux Anthony Bisquerra..une vraie table bistronome MAIS il faut aussi découvrir la partie Gastro un REGAL , une cuisine ..recherchée ..de terroir avec toute la pâte et la personnalité du Chef qui lui est bien propre sans l'ombre d'un Veyrat qui est tout de même omniprésent sur toutes les toques ou MOF étoilés de la région!!et ça on a adoré.le Service est suivi de prés par sa compagne qui a l'oeil sur tout bref un sans faute et une très belle soirée pour nous trois et à vous ..Excellente continuation et réussite ..belle course aux Etoiles!!

Abbiamo ordinato anche dei cocktail, che si sono rivelati altrettanto buoni. Per i miei gusti, l’attesa tra una portata e l’altra è stata un po’ lunga, ma non l’ho trovata fastidiosa. Il servizio è stato molto attento e l’ambiente davvero piacevole.

Abbiamo pranzato oggi pomeriggio in questo bistrot e sono rimasta molto soddisfatta. I piatti erano molto buoni e lo chef ha preparato alcune proposte un po’ speciali per noi. Abbiamo ordinato anche dei cocktail, che si sono rivelati altrettanto buoni. Per i miei gusti, l’attesa tra una portata e l’altra è stata un po’ lunga, ma non l’ho trovata fastidiosa. Il servizio è stato molto attento e l’ambiente davvero piacevole.

if i could give 0 i would have. i am the most generous restaurant reviewer but this experience was so bad i have no choice but to share the reality! 1 hour wait to be served a menu + a bottle of wine. had to grt up and get menu and waiter attention several times.

food another 45min. a table sitting next to us felt bad and offered us their bread. it was a real joke.

we ordered two appetisers to start. they brought one. and then waited 20min for the second one because the waiter d”idnt know if we were done with the first”….??

sent wine back because it was bad and was offered again the same bottle LOL it was so bad we laughed throughout the dinner, im lucky my guests had a sense of humour.

they probably were short on staff that night but the restaurant was half empty!

just ridiculous. never going back.

We had a wonderful time and the atmosphere in the restaurant was pleasant, the staff was attentive, the wine was good.

However, the food was not particularly good. I ordered Onion Soup for starter and it was thick dark substance with little liquid in it. It was simply onions. I tried one bit and left it.

Then came the meat special, which it turned out was overcooked small piece of Bavette for 45 Euros! I did not know that is France they can cook the meat so badly. There has to be some law against it. I asked for medium and I got well done by English standard, tough meat. My wife had Veal with rice and again it was very mediocre and bland, tasted like pieces of chicken in cream. Very cheap and uninspiring cooking.

The desert was nice, but by this time I was ready to leave. The food put me off going back there again. The chicken my friend was having also looked mediocre.

The choice of dishes very limited....
