Les Écuries de Charamillon — Restaurant in Bonneville

Hurt my leg in the slopes, so I desided to find a place to wait for the rest of the group to finish their skiing. Asked the lady behind the cashier if it was possible to sit somewhere, or if everything was booked. She told me that I had to order food to be able to sit, and so I did without any further thought. She was clearly annoyed that I still wantet to sit at a table instead of the bar, so I told her that I would be okay with the bar, even though I preferred a table due to my leg situation (as it later turns out, I ruptured an old injury in my ankle). I ordered a french onion soup and a cup of hot chocolate, but without taking payment, she suddenly left. I didnt understand her behavior, so when she returned after about 5 minutes, I tried being even nicer than before, just to sort out if it was me she didn't like, or if it was something else. Once having payed, I asked for directions to the bathroom. She pointet to the outside door, so I asked if the door is outside. After a little more attitude and a roll with her eyes, she said "down the stairs". This review is getting way too long, but to summarize: horrible service, felt really unwelcome, zero compassion, long waitingtime for the food versus the hot chocolate. I arrived at the hut slightly late with a long hiking day behind me and Matthias (sorry if I spell it wrong) who was the only person taking care of the hut that night was so polite and a lovely host to all of us. He cooked us some delicious dinner and the hut was cozy and warm, I’d really recommend sleeping here if you are doing TMB or even in the winter season because it’s exactly at the ski slopes.
