Popped in here for lunch after a hike to Lac Vert. We had the daily entree and main special, which was corn soup with lard emulsion and pork with carrot puree and potatoes. Fantastic restaurant; we tried to go ski but for various reasons it didn’t work out, so we looked for a restaurant nearby. We found this, and had low expectations, but it ended up being one of the best French restaurants that we went to. My husband got the daily special, which was ham with mustard sauce. Great surprise for lunch. We didn’t have other options for restaurants and got very lucky. The food was great, dare I say amazing, for the entree and the dessert. The main for the vegetarian was okay but could have had more protein, however they created something that wasn’t on the menu, so we are grateful for their hospitality.
