WELL'IN GREEN - GOLF DE SANCERRE — Restaurant in Bourges

Avoid the place on a Monday night! Or Sunday afternoon 😆! We first visited this place yesterday (Sunday), after checking on the Internet the opening hours saying that the bar was opened until 5pm. We arrived at 4.15pm to be told that it was shutting at 4pm today! The lady was quiet rude, no apologies and there was still people (maybe staff) having a drink outside. We thought we would give it another go for our last night of holidays together for an evening meal tonight. On arrival, very confusing on where to go, right for the restaurant, left for the bar but a sign saying "present yourself at the bar first" and as we read the sign, a waitress walked passed and said the bar is that way! No "Hello", no smile or "Can I help you?". We got told by the barman to seat on a high table in the bar. We ordered starters and main to share. The starters arrived, we said again that we were sharing, everything got put in the middle of the table and that was it! I had to go to the bar to ask for 4 small plates! We hadn't finished our starters and the chef came out with our main courses! We had to pile everything quickly onto one plate! One of the main course was wrong (tuna instead of chicken). However, as none of the staff came to check if everything was OK, we ate our meals, one of us obviously being disappointed. When the waitress came to clear the table and asked if everything had been OK (a bit late now!) I explained that we felt rushed with the main courses, no one had come to ask if we wanted more drinks, one of the main course was wrong but also was not what it said on the menu, which is why most of it was left on the plate. She replied that on a Monday, because they have less customers, they shut the kitchen early! We were not told this on arrival but apparently we should have listen when she told the table behind us??!! We got a quick apologie, charged for the main that was not eaten and paid 120€ for a disappointing meal! We dined out in many places during our 2 weeks holidays and this was the worst as the food was just average! I would not go back or...

Un lieu très agréable que ce soit à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur sur la grande terrasse avec vue sur le golf. Les plats sont de bonne qualité et les quantités généreuses, le personnel est accueillant et professionnel. MAIS et c'est un carton rouge: pas de toilettes pour personnes à mobilité réduite, les toilettes femmes sont parfaitement inaccessibles avec un déambulateur et encore moins avec un fauteuil roulant, c'est déjà très serré quand on est valide car l'espace entre la porte des toilettes et le lavabo est restreint. Je pensais que c'était une obligation légale d'avoir des sanitaires accessibles PMR (mais je ne suis pas juriste). Je précise que j'ai demandé à une serveuse s'il y en avait (car ils auraient pu être situés dans un endroit différent des autres toilettes) mais elle m'a répondu non. Par ailleurs, il n'y a qu'une place PMR (mal indiquée) pour un parking d'une cinquantaine de places et un établissement de cette taille c'est trop peu. Après un peu plus d’un an d’existence, c’est toujours un plaisir de venir partager des moments chaleureux et amicaux dans ce lieu destiné à vous faire du bien. Voici mes commentaires de mars 2024 que je souhaite toujours partager : Le Well'in Green est niché dans un écrin de verdure, entre la Loire et Sancerre, c'est un lieu absolument unique où l’on se sent privilégié. Il offre tout ce que l’on attend pour se détendre. Dès l'instant où vous franchissez le seuil, vous êtes enveloppés par une atmosphère chaleureuse et sereine, tant à l’intérieur qu’à l’extérieur (terrasse exceptionnelle). C’est un endroit où l’on a envie de passer du temps et de revenir. La cuisine est délicieuse, avec un rapport qualité/prix incontestable et un accueil attentionné.
