Lovely little place with utterly kind staff and delicious (local) food.
Update: returned 2 evenings later, this time I booked a table in advance. Upon arrival we were pointed to an outside table in the shadow. There were other seats in the sun, but we were told we couldn't change to one of these 2 tables. So be it. But....after 10 minutes after seating the couple behind us asked to change tables because the lady was getting a bit cold. Guess what? They were offered to sit at the table that was just denied when we asked! That's weird. Two days ago the kind waitress explained the various dishes, today's waiter couldn't be bothered. We had a nice fish and chips (baked potatoes actually, not chips) but the kouign amann I ordered for desert was totally different from the delicious puffed pastry I had 2 days before. This one was hard, tough to cut and without visible layers and curled corners. A total different desert. We left totally...

Visited this bistro after a long walk. Website says doesn’t take reservations by email, only phone during opening hours, but figured as it is out of season and not busy there would be no problem. Very wrong. No reservation, no food, despite being less than half full. Front of house was polite but the owner (?) was less than welcoming. Maybe politeness is sometimes lost in translation but the french sometimes dont endear themselves with their attitude when you are trying to give them...
