My partner and I stayed at this lovely hotel only one night as a stop over on a 2 week road trip. I didn’t read many reviews before booking and I’m glad I didn’t. It seems that the people that have left bad reviews must be American and do not understand French service LOL I truly wish we could have stayed longer. The owner is a lovely young man providing an excellent service. Firstly, our dinner was absolutely fantastic. Extremely fresh and home-cooked. It was a perfect welcoming meal. The menu was quite diverse. Cohen continuing with the food the croissant and the pain au chocolat in the morning were absolute perfection. Our room was very clean and comfortable and had a beautiful window looking out to the village. The views from the Fortress outskirts are absolutely incredible. Riding into the fort past all the tourists was a highlight of the trip. I’m reception and staff all very friendly and professional. |Rooms were clean and tidy. Location is stunning.
