La Piscine Summer Club — Restaurant in Céret

I very rarely give one star here on the Google, but this place was a disappointment. 2€ to park the car, and I ordered overpriced nachos for lunch with a friend. The nachos got 0 stars for presentation and flavor. It was drowning in cheese, had a few unripe avocado pieces on top, and a few peppers. Nothing about the nachos resembled actual nachos. In addition to the massive amount of cheddar they added a fake velveeta type cheese underneath which made the chips (which were not corn chips, but fried up piece of flour tortilla) soggy. Hugely overpriced for what you get. I couldn’t finish it, and I was hungry.

We were reprimanded by the waiter for sitting down at a table without announcing ourselves even though we came in from the entrance from the parking lot and it was not evident that we should go somewhere specific. The music was so loud we couldn’t hear ourselves talk. And it wasn’t good music.

In the surface it looks like a cool little beach club in Bali, but if you stay for longer than two minutes, it’s clear the vision never really actualized. Unlikely I’ll...

Nie wieder!! Das Ambiente war ansprechend, deswegen hatte ich mich mit meiner Partnerin entschieden, dort am Abend noch etwas trinken zu gehen. Nachdem die Kellner uns geraume Zeit ignoriert hatten, begann ich mich zu fragen, ob an uns etwas nicht stimmt (Kleidung, Verhalten, etc). Der Platz, der uns zugewiesenen worden war erlaubte einen Blick auf die anderen Gäste, die auch nicht anders gekleidet waren (T-Shirt, kurze Hose, Sandalen). Nachdem die 4 Keller jeweils ca 10 mal an uns vorbeigelaufen waren, ohne uns irgendeines Blickes zu würdigen kam eine der Bedienungen doch noch auf uns zu und fragte höflich, ob wir etwas trinken möchten. Wir bestellen 3 Getränke und nachdem wir die bekommen hatten wurden wir weiter ignoriert. Getränke leer, saßen wir geraume Zeit da und hoben des öfteren mal die Hand, um wenigstens die Rechnung zu bekommen. Leider wurden wir auch hierbei deutlich links liegen gelassen (Kellner Blick geradeaus oder in die entgegengesetzte Richtung bis wir schlussendlich fast die letzten Gäste waren). Dann kam die Rechnung: 133,50€!!! Für drei Getränke ein stolzer Preis, dachte ich und machte den Keller darauf aufmerksam, dass das vermutlich doch ein Irrtum sein muss. War auch so.. wir bekamen dann unsere Rechnung (23,50€). Fazit: Wer Frankreich als Urlaubsland schätzt, sowie entspannte Abendessen in guter Atmosphäre sollte diesen Club meines...

Looks like a nice place. I said the same to I think was the boss and she replied 'ah bon?' Which translates as 'really?'. The prices are posted outside but when I asked for a Coca Zero I was given a bottle and charged more, not much but aittle. A bottle costs more than a can. But seems nice nonetheless.
