Love this restaurant! A must if you are in the vicinity however rsvp absolutely required as they are always full. We tried to rsvp thrice before we got a table for 2 for lunch on a weekday. We planned the day by going to this restaurant on our way to the Spanidg border for some shopping and a visit to the Dali Museum. We arrived a few minutes earlier, there were a few customers on the terrace. There's a ground-floor and a first floor. We were seated very quickly upstairs with the window view overlooking a small park. Menu was displayed on the board. While we were settling in and deciding what to order, the tables around us filled up within the next 10 minutes. This is a tapas restaurant with a dish of the day, you can decide on the tapas potions, if its small or large....the sizes were appropriate. However they tasted excellent that we wished we ordered the larger potions! We ordered the "couteaux en persillade" shellfish grilled on a plancha which was excellent. I loved it. So was the beef tataki fusion style with soy sauce, delicious! The squids (calamars à l'Andalusie) were very nicely fried, not greasy, crunchy yet juicy. The "jarret de porc" was excellent, succulent, tender and very tasty. It melted in my mouth, this is one of the best! I ordered a sorbet made by a local "glacier" in Sorede by the name of Jeff, whose sorbets I am familiar with. I decided to try the hibiscus, ginger and mint. I love the taste of ginger, it was Spice yet it left à lingering hibiscus flavour in my mouth. Not advisable if you can't take hot and spicy. My partner ordered the banofee for his dessert, he loved it. The waiter who attended to us was extremely polite, courteous and had good knowledge of the menu and each dish including the sorbets. Well done! Thank you for such a wonderful dining experience. We will...
Read moreUnfortunately for a new restaurant we were a little disappointed. The decor was lovely as was the outside eating area. The waiting staff were less than helpful. And when we arrived there was no greeting or smiles even though they were not doing anything at the time. I had a selection of Tapas which I found a little dull. Our friends had the entrecote which was okay but the chips were greasey and soft. Hope our next visit will be a little...
