A wonderful local spot with great meals made with fresh local ingredients. This place was farm-to-table long before that was even a thing.
We had the duck fillets, and the fish with spicy coconut milk sauce, both from the daily Menú. We also had a salad accompanied by a house-made foie gras pate which was excellent.
Great selection of local Cahor wines (Malbecs, but these are ancient vines, so the local wine is nothing like the young South American Malbecs.) You can even get half bottles, which is great when dining with one or two people. However, the overall selection is limited, and there are few wines by the glass. (Glasses of champagne and aperitifs like Kir Royale are available.)

Read moreWe discovered this little gem a week or so ago, and it has to be in our top 3 of the area. The owner is a wonderful guy, great to talk to and attentive service, his wife cooks up amazing food sometimes with a little asian teist. We took the 25 euros 4 course meal and was not disappointed. Most things are homemade, even the bread from a bakery in Cahors is superb! Traditional French cuisine, local to the area, with a twist thats different, exciting and so tasty! Duck plays a big part on the menu. The deserts are even more divine, i have never had a homemade creme brulee that delicious before! Their little courtyard is so cute too, managed somehow to have the whole place to ourselves on a Thursday evening and so it made it that much more special as it was one on one service and conversation. Well worth it, a la carte is decently priced too but we say go for the menu! 5 stars,...
