We had a fantastic dinner here on our last day in Europe when we stopped off before taking the channel tunnel early the next day. Everything about the restaurant is charmingly French in the best possible way and the food is to die for. We can't recommend this enough, and we hope to come back on one of our future trips. Update: we came back about 6 months later. Still the same experience, fantastic food, friendly, efficient service and a relaxing atmosphere. We had the creme de cepe with foie gras to start with - such a delicious flavour. For mains we had the sea bass and the entrecote, both cooked to perfection. I've had sea bass in many restaurants, but rarely cooked so well. At this rate we will keep...

We were on our last night before returning to England after a 3 month trip of Europe. What a fabulous way to end. Fabulous food and very friendly service with Fanny taking the time out to chat to us. Menu was perfect, not too big and the quality was excellent. We had Crab and Asparagus (special) to start followed by the beef and Lamb Tagine for the main course. Excellent desserts, coffees and wine combined to make it a very special evening at a reasonable price. Thank you Fanny (and Mr Fanny the chef who even came out to ask if...

Excellent service superb dinner with friends very memorable experience. I had the crab starter and Lapin, friends had the lamb, all were excellent .desserts to die for and an Irish coffee , lovely wines . Highly recommended by our Italian Chef friend who accompanied us.

This place exceeded our expectations. The food was “traditional homemade” French but in a modern way, and the vegetables were not just a side dish, but a substantial part of the dishes. The chicory crème brûlée was really good.
