A slightly disappointing experience at la Boulangerie des Tilleuls, despite its beautiful setting. Sitting near the top « remparts », it is a welcoming spot which attracts a mound of visitors. A plethora of pies line the inside tables, giving you immediate hunger - there is a good amount of choice (many vegetarian options which we appreciated).
That being said, the service was very sour (the young male waiters made it seem like they were annoyed with having to serve their clients, which automatically dampens the mood), as well as being quite slow. The prices are definitely set with tourists in mind - with them even charging 50 cents for a single slice of lemon (in a drink already priced at 3,50euros)!! They could also do with a cover for the pies which were being happily visited by many neighbouring flies. Read moreWe came here many years after cycling tours had coffee and lemon cake.today we expierianced again for the third time that the owner became a very unpleasant person.toerist helped him to survive and earning money. Maybe it will be a good idea to leave the business to the other people and also not start to drink and when he calls out FERMEE say sorry even this old drunk person can learn that word. What is very strange is that walking to my bike a other frence native walked in and order something. Maybe he has private problems or what ever but in this way you are NOT showing hospitality kindness to toerist. I'm very disappointed I accepted this a few times but no I'm not happy. Very bad person absolutely not suitable nor representative for France I hope he will start something else in the near future. John Wijnveldt ContratEch...
