Waitress so rude to us before we’d even had a chance to look at the menu and decide if we wanted to eat. There are better, more polite, more respectful ways to ask your potential customers to take their bikes off the (empty) terrace, which is really the platform adjacent to the cycle way and the only place where you can see the menu. Cycle stand around d the back, not convenient if you just want to check the menu. That waitress was really rude. Might add, we had not parked the bikes, I was still holding mine, just trying to find the menu, which didn’t appear to be displayed. It was the very end of lunch service on a really hot Sunday. Yet staffers were cheerful, smiling and attentive. Given its prime location on the Via Venessia, this restaurant is the perfect spot to have a quick bite or a proper meal, depending on how far you have to cycle. When temperatures reach near-boiling point that makes eating on the terrace a no-no, patrons can retreat to the air-conditioned and well-decorated room. PRO TIP. Je viens accompagner mon mari et ma fille lors de leur balade à vélo, mais accidentée depuis peu, j'avais prévu de passer un bon moment dans votre établissement le temps de leur aventure cycliste. Un commerçant aurait pris la peine de prévenir qu'il fermait pour plus d'une semaine en pleine saison estivale. Vous avez un grand potentiel entre vos mains, il faut apprendre à mieux le valoriser. Une annonce m'aurait permis de venir avec le nécessaire pour patienter (chaises et eau glacée) et je n'aurai pas eu à rédiger ces mots désagréables.
