We came to the restaurant in the afternoon after visiting the castle. We asked for table for three but the waitress told us they just finished the service. We understood completely and wanted to leave but she immediately asked the owner if it is possible to serve us some food. She explained that some of the dishes couldn’t be made but she offered quite a lot of options from the menu. We stayed and got excellent service and excellent food. Waitress that already finished her shift was extremely nice and helpful ( she was evening singing while slicing the bread ). When we ordered, the owner Nathalie came to apologize that we will have to wait 5 - 10 minutes longer than usual because the oven was already turned off. We’ve had chicken and pasta and it was excellent homemade food. We wanted to leave after we finished the main course as the restaurant was closed already but the owner came and asked if wanted a desert and described every one of them. We’ve had three deserts - panna cota with figs, baba au rhum and affogato. All of them were amazing!

Read moreNous sommes attristés de ce que ce lieu est devenus. Une carte proposant des plats de la plus grande banalité pouvant se retrouver dans toutes les mauvaises brasseries des stations balnéaires: carpaccio de tomates, tartare de thon, entrecôte frites, tiramisu… le tout à plus de 40€ en moyenne (entrée, plat, dessert). Nous sommes un petit village de Provence magnifique, avoir la jugeote de présenter des plats typiques provençaux à des prix abordables ne vous a pas traversé l’esprit ? Tomates à la provençale, Farcis, Daube, Feuilletés tapenade… et j’en passe. Saviez-vous que le Beaucet produit d’excellent fromages de chèvre ? Et d’autres produits locaux? On doit ressentir quelque chose en lisant la carte bon sang ! Nous espérons que les prochains propriétaires se sentiront plus concernés à rendre à ce lieu chaleur et identité, en attendant celui-ci demeure désespérément vide. Et de grâce, ôtez cette bâche en plastique digne de la Grande Motte, elle gâche toute la beauté de ce petit lieu...
