I have lived in this part of France for 19 years and have never been to this fabulous restaurant before - if only I had known !||It was a boiling hot Monday and we had a table on the terrace under the shade of the vines. Talk about quirky - there are all sorts of extra-ordinary "things" decorating the terrace - we sat alongside an ancient tandem and the flower bed was red casserole lids ! If there is a crowd of you, you can sit in a boat - in the middle of the decking etc, etc !!!||I had the plat de jour, where there were about 3 choices of each course and it was all excellent and a very reasonable price. Note moyenne, le restaurant nous a été recommandé par des amis, mais le jour où nous avons réservé, autour du 20 août, s'en sont suivis une suite de perturbations. Nous sommes arrivés presque une heure après l'heure de réservation, donc en plein coup de feu ! Et bien sûr nous avons attendu pour la prise de commandes, etc. De plus, nous étions 7 adultes et 5 enfants et ados, nous avons bien compris que l'attente a été un peu exagérée de par notre retard initial. Nous avons pris du foie gras en entrée, 3 seuls et 2 en salade, il était immangeable, trop salé ! À noter 3 n'ont pas été comptés, pas les salades, pourtant le prix était le même il y avait seulement 1 toast de moins, à 15 € ça fait cher la salade verte ! Les plats étaient bons et copieux ! Nous avons dus réclamer la pizza d'une des ados qui n'avait pas été servie 20 mns après tout le monde, pizza qui est arrivée trop rapidement pour avoir été faite à l'instant, la pâte était "cartonnée", pizza certainement oubliée et réchauffée, d'ailleurs pas mangée ! Étant amateurs de profiteroles, ma femme et moi en avons pris, la glace était trop dure et pleine de paillettes, le socle des choux étaient "cartonné", nous en avons laissé la moitié ! Donc première impression moyenne, peut-être de notre faute au départ, le repas était mitigé, mais nous avons eu tellement de bonnes recommandations de la part d'amis que nous y retournerons pour ne pas rester sur une mauvaise note, et j'espère, pour...
