Daytona - Grill & Sports Bar — Restaurant in Chambéry

Service was at best rude, and at worst, hostile. We were perfectly polite, and it was not busy so I’m not sure why we were treated so terribly. The food was horrible. Neither of us finished our meals. Couldn’t taste anything in the burger but the slob of melted cheese. The salmon wrap was burnt on the outside, cold in the middle, and became inedibly soggy after minutes. We specifically asked for tap water but were brought a bottle, and charged for it. First - there is no American steak or hamburger weighing 150 or 200 grams. Another 50 grams per 200 grams were missing and it was felt in the taste. The amount of chips was also small for my taste. The menu is focused and what we ate was good. The prices are expensive. The recommended dessert for our taste is French toast, which also lacked another scoop of ice cream. The service is good. Cela faisait longtemps que nous souhaitions découvrir le Daytona : Nous avions réservé le jour même via zenchef - arrivé à l'heure convenue - 21h15- notre table nous attendait = Parfait. Une gentille serveuse souriante et sympathique s'est occupée de nous (prenant soin de se renseigner lorsque nous lui avons posé des questions sur boisson et plats = très bien) , peu d'attente, pour nos boissons et nos plats, cuisson parfaites des viandes ( de très bonnes qualité :)) - après nos desserts, nous commandons 2 café a notre gentille serveur , il est 22h32... elle revient quelques instants après nous annoncer que :" plus de café à cette heure là, le barman a déjà arrêté la machine parce que le restaurant ferme à 23h" ... ??? .. !! Sérieux ? des clients sont encore a table, repas non terminé ! - Dépité, nous devons donc partir.. , et c'est le barman qui nous encaisse , pas un sourire et franchement pas très agréable. Autant tout le repas s'est bien passé, autant le coup du café et le barman nous reste un peu en travers de la gorge. d'où l'avis mitigé sur "l'ambiance" .
