La Ferme De Ramée — Restaurant in Chambéry

I would highly recommend this place to visitors of Chambery.

Very authentic place located on a farm in the country side 10min from Chambery. They serve only 4 dishes (each 21-23 EUR incl. dessert) of which you can only order too without previous reservation and pre order.

The food was great and the service fabulous. They served nice wine from own vineyard for a good price.

The waiter who maybe was the owner of the place was so great and tried to make us feel comfortable. He tried to explain us everything in English which worked out good enough.

We were here for lunch on a sunday. The restaurant was crowded with french people (beside us). It felt very "real french" since it were mainly big families.

We stopped for lunch during our wine tour and had to return the next day! Greeted by amazing hosts-everyone was so welcoming. Great menu options, but had the fondue both visits! We started with the chilled apple juice, followed by a simply dressed green salad, and a plate of pickles accompanied by amazing prosciutto. The fondue was beyond! The French bread dipped into the warm cheese was gooey and so satisfying! We wrapped up with the homemade chocolate ice cream and espresso! Highly recommend! There is also a retail section with various cookies, local honey...

This place is a gem within such an unassuming village. Lovely atmosphere. The staff were so unbelievably friendly and the food was excellent. The omlette was buttery and rich and the fromage blanc paired amazingly with the raspberry coulis. Needless to say, I'll be back in the future. The owners of this place should be so proud...
