Casa Mia — Restaurant in Charleville-Mézières

It must easily be the worst service in a restaurant that I have ever experienced ! From the moment we sat down, it was clear that customer service was not a priority—at least not for non-French guests.

We waited 40 minutes just for a starter and over 1.5 hours for our main course. When we politely complained about the delay, the waitress completely ignored us and didn’t even bother responding. Even worse, the owner, who was present, muttered something in French and pretended not to understand us rather than addressing the issue. Not once did anyone apologize or acknowledge the poor service.

Throughout the evening, we noticed that French-speaking customers were served much faster and given far more attention. Meanwhile, we were completely ignored—not a single check-in to see if we needed anything or if we enjoyed our meal.

It’s shocking to see such blatant favoritism and disregard for customers who don’t speak French. If you’re looking for a welcoming and professional dining experience, I strongly suggest going somewhere else !!! The food was decent but not worth the horrible...

Don’t eat here if you don’t want to risk being humiliated. We have been three times at this restaurant. First time, no reservation, all went well, good pizza al forno. Second time, we made a reservation, the meal was decent, but the stuff was impolite. Third time, the owner was more than rude to us in front of the other customers. When the owner heard that we don’t have a reservation, he raised his voice and said: “Then it’s closed for you”. Exceptionally nice pizza and pizzeria. Pizzas are made with very good quality toppings and the cheese used is amazing. The atmosphere inside (that I did not seat as we did not book a spot, we just showed up) was a.proper warm cozy pizzeria. The 5th star is missed for just one reason: the starter we ordered was brought to use after the mains. I would expect to be asked.if I still need a starter that is late when I already started eating my main. And also that one was way too expensive for few slices of tomato and mozzarella.
