Small town, don't expect anything to be open on Sunday. But... Walking past I noticed a nice wood fired oven so decided on this over the 'vending machine' pizza. It was ready in literally a few minutes. Price for the 'grande' wasn't bad at €13. Bottle of rose €7 50.. Pizza lacked taste and the bottom had too many burnt bits, especially around the edges. As I was the only customer in at the time, he could have taken his time. Also, ( maybe its typical France custom?) but it was raining when I left, he could have offered me a bag to protect the box from getting wet. And struggling to open the door with pizza in 1 hand and bottle in the other. Maybe a one-off low quality pizza-day so the next time he will get a second chance. I will add to my review if I do return. I had given 3* but after reading my review I gave 2*. For oven /cleanliness 2 but because of quality/taste and service., no more. Tip for the owner: take the time and put a little more passion in to your work. Use some herbs to add taste. You have a very nice and unique shop, build on...
Read moreThis guy serves the best pizzas and makes sure that you know what you are ordering by showing me an egg (my daughter, who speaks no French, had written oeufs? On the paper we noted down our party's choices on!). Then he offered me a sniff of Origano in case I was justified about that too! So although I understood these things, even if you speak little French, he will guide you through the toppings! He then announced that the 5 pizzas would be ready in half an hour. So myself, my 5 year old Grand-daughter and son-in-law walked the short distance to the town of square where there are good seats to sit on. All 5 pizzas were delicious:the...
