France wins! Yes, the question is as old as Joan of Arc. The answer has never really changed. Where else in the world can you stop in a tiny village, with one restaurant, on a rainy monday, and get a really well put together piece of fresh fish, cooked perfectly (as in just, just cooked), and served with all the sensitivity of a brain surgeon. And fresh, good bread on a monday. This was not luck. This is France. This restaurant is so typical of the soul of this culinary oasis. Ingredients are bought, prepared with traditional techniques, and presented with intelligence (it was a 1 man kitchen to table show today) and, above all, craft.

Lovely quiet little local restaurant. Friendly staff and good quality food. The menu is limited but it is all freshly cooked, with a small daily specials selection. If you aren't a fan of pate then you might struggle for a starter, however the mains are quite varied. The steak is delicious when cooked medium. The chocolate tart is absolutely fantastic a definite must for desert!

We visited with our small baby and a dog to this fantastic restaurant in the heart of the countryside. The host was very welcoming and the atmosphere is very peaceful and relaxed. The menu is small and the food is delicious and very reasonably priced. This is a great find and I really recommend it
