Chez Bilou — Restaurant in Chinon

Guys, I really don’t want to be mean, to leave bad reviews just because my standards are something specially high, but experience I have had in this place is something I really have to emphasise as a worst one I ever had in France. The place is a local hole, mainly visited by locals, some of them pretty drunk already at 6PM.. But OK, you can’t avoid that clientele.. For us was a bit annoying when you notice they’re staring on you and mumbling something you don’t understand.. About the meals.. You could order a frozen pizza or a hamburger, made by a guy who is a barmen, waiter and obviously someone who is preparing meals, probably in the absence of a chef at that time, for some reason..But that guy is doing his job as well as he could.. As only guests there, we have waited 40 minutes for three hamburgers, got a beer totally flat, same as water, gas less.. French fries non eatable at all, like a sponge, maybe fried of the frozen one, yesterday..And for that enjoyment I have paid 56€.. I really haven’t had a word about that with them, just want to suggest to not waste your time and...

Ik denk dat er in het dorp nog ergens een Chez Bilou moet zijn als ik sommige resensies lees want die waar ik ben geweest zou ik nog niet aan mijn grootste vijanden aanraden. Terras gevuld met locals die waarschijnlijk door hun vrouw het huis uit zijn gestuurd. Een barman die je ongeïnteresseerd een 'menukaart' toewerpt en als je in je beste Frans een bestelling hebt geplaatst is 'ie te beroerd om duidelijk aan te geven hoe laat je bestelling klaar is. Wachten dus op een paar mini pizzas waarvan de bodem niet gaar is en de korst zwart verbrand. Mocht je in de buurt...

J'adore la patronne ! 😊 Avec son brin de caractère mais aussi avec son écoute. De très bons moments ensemble pour papoter. Toujours à rendre service pour les colis. Endroit chaleureux et convivial. Lors des soirées toujours un bon moment de détente et une bonne ambiance ! Respecte les voisins l'été ce qui est très important dans un petit village. C'est avec un grand merci pour leur dévouement auprès des gens qui...
