I’m a trained London chef and this was seriously the best meal we had during our 5 month stay in France (in fairness, several months were spent in confinement so we did not dine out but this was still extraordinary). A talented husband and wife duo manage approx 14 covers on Friday and Saturday evenings. We were super lucky to score a ressie a few days prior but strongly recommend booking well in advance. They only use the terrace for the warmer months which is very peaceful. They welcomed our giant Labrador warmly. The food was mind blowing on presentation, taste and price. 3 course gourmet dinner for €20!! The food was exquisite. My partner had chilled petit pois soup and I had the most incredible heirloom tomato with beef tartare packed inside. For mains he had duck & waffle (quite on trend for a little village restaurant - a fab combo I’ve only ever seen in london and nyc) and I had sea bream and courgette confit.
