Le Nemo — Restaurant in Corte

Well it all started OK, prompt service to order my pizza, and not even an issue to exchange the onions for mushrooms on the Chevre pizza, after it arrived I asked to move inside because I was cold and that was no problem the waiter duly relocated me, then I seemed to become invisible! Neither waiter would look my way! Finally when I had finished a waiter did clear my plate and asked me if I'd like a dessert or coffee, I said dessert please, he pointed to the reception area and muttered something as he walked away, I assumed he said he would get a menu, after a further 20 mins I finally collared him again, he said go to the desk to pay! I told him I was waiting for the dessert menu! He hadn't understood me, not good! Anyway neither was the dessert in the end so I wished I hadn't bothered! 'tiramisu traditionale' it was called , nothing traditional about it at all, three layers of dry sponge glued together with a ton of chantilly is NOT a tiramisu! I think the chef must have drunk the coffee because there was no coffee flavour at all and he must have forgotten to buy the marscapone cheese! Also on the bill I notice I was charged 1€ for the mushrooms that I'd asked for instead of the onions, they didn't take a euro off for not putting the onions on mind you! So what started well, really didn't end in the same way, very disappointed after all, also didn't like all the dogs that seemed to be wandering around the restaurant un challenged, a Yorkshire terrier in particular was a nuisance keeping sniffing around my table, it's just...

Le Nemo is situated within Camping Marina d'Erba Rossa, a stones throw away from the beach.

There is a lot of seating outside the restaurant and some inside.

For the both times we visited, we were served by this lovely young lady who was always smiling, very polite and professional. I think she was also the only one who knew English well.

The food is reasonably priced with good portion sizes and all very tasty and of good quality.

The 2 times we visited, it very busy, but we were seen to quite quickly. However, I think the waiting time between courses were quite long so ended up buying more drinks. The average time of stay was around 2 hours. If we didn't have to wait so long in-between courses, I'd have given 5 stars.

The set meal on the menu was perfect, and a really great price compared to if you buy the items...

Questo ristorante si trova all’interno di un campeggio a 4 stelle, i prezzi sono in linea con la Corsica, ma non con il campeggio Abbiamo preso : menù bambino €13 composto da gnocchi al pesto e gelato. Gnocchi buoni, classici gnocchi del supermercato. un misto fritto di pesce €22 Buono, pesce non fresco ma congelato, non ho mai visto le cozze fritte .. ma va beh… Buono. spaghetti all’astice per 2 persone €79 Qua iniziano i problemi……….. il cameriere gentile e disponibile, apparecchia con le posate per l’astice. Posate sporche. Rimandate indietro, non cerchiamo il pelo nell’uovo, può capitare. 40 minuti di attesa per la pasta all’astice…. Ci hanno servito una pasta acquosa, insapore e con del pesce non fresco che faceva pietà . Era tutto tranne che una pasta all’astice. Era una pasta allo scoglio se così si può chiamare, di quelle porzioni che si trovano al supermercato congelate. L’astice c’era ma è stata cotta alla griglia e messa sopra questa “” pasta allo scoglio”” Proviamo l’astice, aveva un saporaccio e non era cotta!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Al che abbiamo fatto presente al cameriere che si è scusato e si è offerto di farcene un’altra… ma li serviva un miracolo. Abbiamo lasciato lì. Abbiamo pagato €146 per non aver mangiato nulla se non un misto fritto diviso in 2. Alla cassa il signore nemmeno si è degnato di scusarsi in primo luogo e secondo luogo di farci magari un po’ di sconto visto che la sua pasta l’abbiamo avanzata al prezzo di €79. Fanno tanto i brillanti, i padroni di casa ma poi non sanno nemmeno cucinare un uovo al tegamino. Ma che schifooo!!! Imparate prima l’umiltà prima della cucina. Se volete un consiglio… al bar fanno panini molto più buoni di questi piatti … con il menù da €12 mangiate un hamburger patatine e...
