U Monte Padru — Restaurant in Corte

Lors de mon déjeuner, j’ai choisi un hamburger à 19,50 €, présenté comme « fait maison », mais qui s’est révélé assez banal et sans originalité. Le service est agréable, sans être remarquable.

Le vrai problème reste l’emplacement : situé sur la voie principale de Ghisonaccia, le restaurant est exposé aux passages incessants de camions, bus et motos. Le bruit et la pollution rendent l’expérience peu agréable.

En plus de l’inconfort sonore, le restaurant n’accepte pas les cartes bancaires, obligeant les clients à se rendre à la banque la plus proche, située à 200 mètres, pour retirer de l’argent liquide ou payer par chèque, ce que plus personne ne fait.

Si vous souhaitez un repas calme et ressourçant, ce n’est clairement pas l’adresse idéale

I had a hamburger for €19.50, advertised as "homemade", but it turned out to be quite ordinary. The service was friendly, though nothing remarkable.

The main issue is the location: right on Ghisonaccia’s main road, with constant traffic from trucks, buses and motorcycles. Noise and pollution make the experience far from relaxing.

On top of the noise, the restaurant does not accept credit cards, forcing customers to walk 200 meters to the nearest bank to withdraw cash or pay by check, which almost nobody does anymore.

If you are looking for a quiet and refreshing lunch spot, this is not the best choice.

Aghju pigliatu un hamburger à 19,50 €, annunziatu cum’è « fattu in casa », ma abbastanza nurmale senza nunda di particulare. U serviziu hè simpaticu, ma senza esse rimarcèvule.

In più di l’inconfortu sonoru, u risturante ùn accetta micca e carte bancarie, cusì i clienti devenu andà à a banca più vicina, à 200 metri, per piglià soldi in contanti o pagà cun assegni, cosa chì quasi nimu ùn face più.

S’è vo circate un locu calmu è ripusante per manghjà, ùn hè micca a scelta ghjusta.

Ho preso un hamburger a 19,50 €, pubblicizzato come “fatto in casa”, ma si è rivelato piuttosto ordinario. Il servizio è stato cordiale, ma nulla di speciale.

Il vero problema è la posizione: sulla strada principale di Ghisonaccia, con traffico continuo di camion, autobus e motociclette. Rumore e inquinamento rendono l’esperienza poco piacevole.

Inoltre, il ristorante non accetta carte di credito, costringendo i clienti a camminare 200 metri fino alla banca più vicina per prelevare contanti o pagare con assegno, cosa che quasi nessuno fa più.

I recently dined at a restaurant with a nice ambiance, but unfortunately, it was located next to a busy road, which affected the overall experience. The food was decent but nothing particularly special. We tried the Corsican burger and moules, but the burger lacked uniqueness, and the fries were not crispy as expected.

As for the drinks, we ordered aperitif spritz cocktails, but they were not as refreshing as we hoped. The service was slow, even though there was a bell on the table that didn't seem to work, making it challenging to get assistance and pay in a timely manner.

To add to the inconvenience, when we finally got the bill, they informed us that their card machine was broken, accepting only cash. It would have been better if they had communicated this earlier.

Poor staff,I eat 4 times here.
