I entered and did not have a reservation. I asked if she spoke English and she was very kind and accommodating. She explained I could sit on the lounge as other tables had reservations. I told her I didn’t mind at all.

I placed my order and she brought me my coffee in a few minutes. I ordered the avocado toast. It had exquisite presentation with a marvelous salad. The avocado toast was incredible.

When I went to pay, I also purchased a matcha cookie. Do not miss the opportunity to have one....

En vacances à Dieppe, j'ai voulu me garer à côté du "Moment café" pour y manger après de longues heures de route, de plus les avis sont superbes et notre logement ne se trouve pas très loin.Une femme est sortie et m'a demandé avec autorité de ne pas me garer à cet endroit car "ce n'est pas une place". Etonnée, je lui fais remarquer qu'il y a un marquage au sol qui semble bien définir une place, ce à quoi elle me répond "le bon marquage s'est effacé, la Mairie n'a pas fait son travail, vous n'allez pas m'expliquer comment vivre dans ma ville!!!". Je n'ai absolument pas compris sa réaction. Le discours de cette femme en dit long sur son opinion concernant les touristes...(nous ne sommes pas tous inciviques).l'Honnêteté aurait été préférable, mais j'ai supposé que potentiellement la proximité entre sa terrasse et la place de parking pouvaient avoir une mauvaise incidence sur la fréquentation de l'établissement! Dans un contexte économique difficile je trouve normal de faire ce que l'on peut pour aider les restaurateurs/commerçants. Néanmoins un tel comportement n'est pas acceptable lorsqu'on exige des touristes l'irréprochabilité. J'émets un avis concernant la restauratrice mais en aucun cas sur sa cuisine. L'agressivité de la dame, sa mauvaise foi ainsi ma réflexion m'ont évidemment fait changer de place(alors que celles-ci sont très prisées et par conséquent difficiles à trouver).
