We came here on recomendations from our hotel. When we entered we had a friendly but hasty welcome and the place was very crowded, despite it was out of season.

So a good start, but oh did it turn for the worse after...

We noticed first that the tables were very close to each other. Ok no problem we will make due. When we ordered the menu, the first course was horrible. The 'terrine de canard au foi gras' might sound special, but in reality it was a rotten piece of terine that was nowhere near foi gras. It was clearly out of date and the taste was horrible.

Ok maybe the main course would do better with the piece the bouf? Not really, the meat was very low quality.

The dessert wasnt that bad, a piece of a local cheese, the neufchatel ferme. But... it turns out this is a rather cheap cheese after i visited a cheese shop the day after. Price of the piece on restaurant? I estimate below 1 euro.

When we asked for some fries for our small 3 year old son they brought an entire plate of fries with fish. We didnt ask for the fish and we even specificly said that our child is a difficult eater and thats why we didnt want anything else but fries for him. So we payed 13.5 for something we partially didnt ask for...

What annoys me most were the prices of the drinks, wich were totally out of proportion with the rest of france.

4.4 for a soda, 7.8 for a bottle of water while the service said it was 6 euros and 7.5 for a glass of housewine (service also said before it was 7), wich, irronicly, is named a glass of wine for 7 on the bill but is charged 7.5. See picture

Also very strange that these standard drinks are not on the chart. You do get a chart with super expensive wines up to 6900 euros (it is a petrus though...)

So in conclusion. No it was not good and the prices made it feel unfair. In the end they didnt even ask if it was good, it was just the feeling of 'please leave and give us all of your money'.

Still 2 stars for warm welcome and ok portions,...

Amazing restaurant! I was out with 3 of my friends and we arrived an hour before the restaurant opened. Even though our French was horrible, the waitress allowed us to sit down anyway and served us delicious champagne and appetizers. At 19:00 sharp our orders were taken and all of the servings came quickly. The value we received for the price we paid is outstanding! For 25 euros we enjoyed a 3 course dinner. The taste and freshness of the food exceeded my expectation! We definitely will come back whenever we are visiting Le...

Wow what a surprise this restaurant, looking at the different menu outside it looked expensive then I quote a three course menu at €25 , I thought why not , they allowed me to get my Brompton bike in, I got a carafe of roses. The food was absolutely awesome on top of that Damien the maitre D was so funny and very helpful when I was using the wrong cutlery for the seafood plater .. 100% recommendations. Merci les gars .
