Le 1925 — Restaurant in Dinan

Our group of 7 left with a feeling of disappointment overall. Initial service was charming and informative, though level of service as evening progressed deteriorated. Some courses were well executed, though non of us liked the luke warm low temperature cooked fish. Most disappointing was the duck. It was overcooked and dry. The accompanying sauce was dried onto the plate. We did mention it to the waiting staff. We arrived at 7pm and left at 9.40pm, without waiting for a coffee. Very slow service. We suspected too few staff. Restaurant itself was lovely, but, sadly, we are not...

Après les 20 premières minutes passées dans ce restaurant de façon plutôt agréable, le service est devenu très éphémère excepté une très serviable jeune serveuse, toute attentionnée. Mais c'est tout. L'apothéose de l'enfer est rapidement arrivée ensuite avec un groupe d'une vingtaine de britanniques "d'un certain âge", aussi bruyants que possible et sans éducation ni respect pour tout ce qui les entoure, au point de faire déplacer d'autres convives tellement ça devenait intolérable...un comble. Bref, dans un tel établissement il paraît indispensable pourtant de faire respecter un savoir-faire ou savoir-être. A la fin, plus de serveurs disponibles. Il a fallu se diriger vers le bar pour l'addition... Malgré une très belle mention pour la partie cuisine (bravo à eux!), il n'y aura en aucun cas de 2ème fois pour nous quant à l'attitude désinvolte de la direction d'établissement par rapport à un tel irrespect "d'un groupe de convives" . Quel dommage de ternir un tel lieu avec ce genre...
