Les Causettes de Plouër — Restaurant in Dinan

This place is a gem - good looking and popular, but rare! I haven't found many cafes/restaurants like it since living in the area (Cargo Culte in Saint Malo is the only other place with this kind of laidback, vintage, soul food approach), so it was a very pleasing discovery for someone who comes from a British city full of cafes of this kind. The food is excellent, making best use of local, seasonal produce, and the menu is well-priced (2 courses for €15), the service is always with a smile (and a friendly chat!), and there's a lovely, relaxed atmosphere inside - one which gave me no reservations whatsoever about breastfeeding there. Les Causettes c’est une bulle, un endroit où je sais que le sourire des filles m’attend, où la deco me plaît par son côté très simple-sans-l’être , où j’aime être entourée de gens ( c’est toujours plein, il faut absolument réserver 😊) mais pourtant ressentir de l’intimité...... Et bien sûr...... où je sais que je vais me régaler...... Les petits veloutés de légumes de saison, les assiettes de poissons ou de viandes aux saveurs toujours délicates et étonnantes....
