Did not deliver on our expectations. The setting for this restaurant is ideal. For lunch you can enjoy your food literally on the beach few meters from the sea. For dinner, you can admire the show of Colors the sun makes on the sea as it sets down. The place is nicely decorated. We found the waiter not to be as attentive as in other restaurants, and the service was a bit long. Having tried the pizzas in three occasions, I would not recommend them. We also found the pasta to be very rich and heavy. On the other hand the grilled sea bass was wonderful. The wine list to accompany your meal is well stocked. This place is fantastic for the scenery and the atmosphere, but, in my opinion, is a let down on the food quality. Price wise, I found the dishes too be well over priced, especially when the quality is lacking.

OK: it's les Voiles de Saint Tropez! Lots of people in the area, warm and sunny weather. A nice table for two was presented, even without booking, and despite a next-to-full restaurant: The beautiful sailing boats in the background and very friendly staff to welcome us. What could go wrong? ... The kitchen: 44 euros for tasteless risotto. Rice pudding without salt (and sugar) with a few factory peeled prawns thrown in. Nearly the same price for spaghetti vongole - overcook shellfish and next-to-raw spagetti. (al dente - come on!). Price/value - I don't think we have experience worse in the 20 years we have been around this area. It is nicer to give good reviews than bad. But this was a special case. We had a great time; thanks to the weather, the friendly service, nice talks with our side table neigbours. The food at that price was so appalling that we will remember it for a long time. Food was fine, not something very special but fresh, and a waiter man was very polite. Steak was average, octopus good, Dessert Baba de rum wasn’t good, it should be much more delicate and it was just super alcoholic.

However, after we finished our dinner, I asked to charge my phone at the bar. Nice blond lady agreed. When I came to pickup, another woman at the bar cashier asked me if I had a dinner there and if I don’t have a home to do it. Well, that was rude and impolite.
