Good but not very memorable We ate at this restaurant out of convenience as we were staying at the hotel. The menu was fairly classic so we chose the lamb as our mains accompanied by some additional vegetable sides. Our meal was nicely plated and food was better than we expected but still pretty average and nothing special. Service was attentive but inexperienced. This was mainly due to the fact that the servers had been recycled from other positions at the hotel. Decor was a bit lacking and the restaurant was a bit too quiet for our liking. The worst meal on a 3 week trip to Europe. Bleh food and long waits

Food: maybe I don’t have a developed palette, but this food was worse than the refuges we were eating at while hiking through the alps. French toast with tomato for dessert was bleh

Service: felt bad for the service because it was clear the kitchen was behind schedule. We waited an hour and and a half for our dessert after our last course. What wasn’t ok was the lack of communication from the servers we just sat there for an hour.

At the time of our visit (July 2023) they had 1 Michelin star. We ordered 7 course meal (also, one guest had 6 course vegetarian meal) . Outstanding taste and presentation! I read other guests’ complains that service was slow and asked the staff to speed up our service a bit because we had to drive back to Nice - and they absolutely accommodated us!
