La Plancha Tahiti — Restaurant in Faʻaʻā

We popped in on our last day in Tahiti. Our waiter Romain was welcoming and friendly. Me and my partner took a table in the AC room, and outdoor seatings are available as well. Ordered La plancha's passion cocktail, it was yum, and a dark Hinano beer. The food portions are generous, we shared the deluxe beef carpaccio which was fresh and tasty. And the deserts were so good too, tarte tatin and rum baba. Glad we've found that local gem near our hotel. Highly recommended...

Came here for breakfast around 9am. Just simple eggs and bread and tuna, but it was excellent. The tuna sashimi in coconut milk and lime was great. I've never had anything like it. The drink menu looked fun but we didn't try. The road noise was a bit annoying but to be expected in the morning I guess. Not a great view, but, I'll be back again. The Hilton breakfast was $55 USD!!!! So we found this across the street and it's a much better...

My husband and I grabbed beers here on our first day of our honeymoon. The server, Jade, was SO NICE and spoke English very well (we are American). She made some very helpful recommendations for where to snorkel, get massages, go paragliding, etc. (check out Toaroto Public Beach!!!)
