This place is a complete joke. Don't ever go here!
We went here with a group of ten. The place was recommended by the owner of the place we stay and we had a reservation.
The staff doesn't speak English, not a single word. This is not uncommon in France (although it's 2023...) and as non-French speaking we'll manage ourselves. However, the staff seems impatient and doesn't give us any time to translate and make a choice for food.
In this case they had a choice of: A three course menu with a salad "buffet", meat(bavette)/fish and cheese/something Entrecote or Lamb (no menu)
This was presented on two signs and we were expected to make a choice on the spot. We didn't get 10 minutes to do translation for ourselves and make a choice. This, obviously, resulted in an ordering chaos. They should have just given us a paper (French would have been fine) and give us 10 minutes to make our choice.
After we made the choice, It turned out that the entrecote wasn't available anymore, while pointing to the only other group of 5 people. Why don't they have sufficient entrecote, one of a few choices, when you have a 10 person reservation??
One in our party is vergitarian. Granted, we should have checked in advance, but the only possibility was the salad buffet (which was another joke) and some fries.
When we got the bavette, some was barely rare. The fries were cold and flubbery.
When we got to desert, we were given the choice between crÚme brûlée and something else. How much more clear can you get, so everyone said yes to the crÚme brûlée. We ended up with some form of apple cake that was so hard it would be considered a murder weapon in most parts of the world.
All in all a very bad experience. The average McDonald's offers better service and food. At the very least they allow you to look at...

Being an Irish boy from Kildare, where we like our lamb, the plate of Cote D'Agneau I was served today with a marinade of basil and garlic was superb, transporting me back to my childhood days with my dear ould Irish granny. The starter of Buratta on a bed of locally sourced Coeur De Beouf tomatoes with a viaigrette of olive oil, balsamic vinegar and mustard was equally mouth watering. I have lived in France for 8 years now and spend a lot of time touring the country in our camper can with my French partner, today's lunch was up there with the...
