This is our local, but in honesty it is comparable with the best restaurant in La Rochelle. The food is imaginative, superb challenge of the Chef “Willi”culinary skills. While many of the wines are local, the staff know French wines well and offer pairings with superb match. The staff are super friendly and helpful. It’s important too to get the timing right between courses and they do this well. We often take friends who visit us. They are always amazed at this little gem of a restaurant in the back of France. But this is what I thought French cuisine was all about. As someone said, I don’t want to recommend it too highly for fear of it becoming over populated, but it’s amazing. As a short history.
