Restaurant L'Eldorado — Restaurant in Fontenay-le-Comte

This was the first time visiting this restaurant. First impressions was it was very clean & comfortable. Looking at the menu we all thought it was expensive especially the drinks. We didn’t have to wait too long to be served. One meal had Pom frites which were over cooked and quite dry. The Ceaser Salad was gritty so was not washed as well as it should be. I ordered the Vegetable Pizza as i am Vegetarian.It looked fine with plenty of vegetables but when I started to eat it I realised there was meat on it. After not putting meat or fish into my mouth for over 40 years I’m sure I would have vomited if I had accidentally put it in my mouth. I returned my meal to the waitress who looked at it and took it away to the kitchen, without a word of apology, so I had no idea what was happening. At one point the manager came walking towards us so I imagined she was about to apologise and give an explanation, but not so, she walked passed us to go and chat with her friends on the next table. Restaurant que nous avons choisi par hasard u soir. Et bien le hasard fait bien les choses ! Ce restaurant vous propose vraiment un bon choix de salades, viandes, pizzas,desserts,... avec un très bon rapport qualité/ prix. Malgré le monde le jour de notre venue, le service a été plutôt bien assuré. Pas déçus du tout des plats mangés (une grande salade et un tartare préparé). Les frites sont justes excellentes (faites maison). Les produits sont bonnes qualités. Donc pas d'hésitation vu les prix, faut pas s'en priver. En revanche faut vraiment penser à réserver, le restaurant peut afficher plein rapidement ! Ce jour, 3 amis s'étaient donné rendez-vous à midi à l'Eldorado à Luçon. L'accueil fut souriant et sympathique. De l'entrée au dessert, nous avons très bien mangé et avons rendu des assiettes vides car c'était excellent. Le restaurant s'est rapidement rempli ce qui nous a conforté d'avoir réservé. Le service a été parfait et toujours avec le sourire. Nous avions eu une première expérience au printemps dernier ce qui nous avait encouragé à la renouveler ! N'étant plus depuis longtemps des perdreaux de l'année, nous ne pouvons que recommander cet endroit où, de toute évidence, nous reviendrons. Merci...
