Le Céres'THYM — Restaurant in Forcalquier

Came across this little gem during our mountain biking trip through the Luberon. By the time we got to Cereste, we were beat and in dire need of drinks and sustenance! What are the odds that the entire town just had a power outage because of a wind fall on a power line.....Luckily the super kind and helpful owner took us in, made us the best Aperol spritz you can dream of after a hard day biking under the beating sun. Unfortunately we couldn't try the food since no power but he allowed us to eat our snacks while drinking rosé and having a good chat! We made it to our campsite 3km below cheery and grateful for this encounter. We will for sure return to visit!...

C'est ouvert tous les jours et comme c'est l'été nous pouvons y déguster des super glaces réalisées par un artisant glacier. Tous les dimanches un brunch avec musiciens en live. Super accueil, très convivial... ce n'est pas une boutique éphémère. Je suis heureuse que ce glacier et petite restauration soit ouvert dans le village ou je vis... et que le but est de partager et non pas faire du business à touristes... et pour les touristes c'est vraiment sympa de se sentir chez-soi le temps des vacances. Après 1 ans de remise à neuf du lieu, l'inauguration était dimanche.Mise en route avec ces délicieuses glaces et des évolutions au cours de l'année et à chaque saison. Ein ganz besonderes Café! Schon beim ersten Besuch waren wir begeistert – und als wir ein Jahr später wiederkamen, erinnerte sich der Besitzer nicht nur an uns, sondern sogar daran, was wir damals bestellt hatten. Alles ist hausgemacht, mit viel Liebe zubereitet, und man spürt die Herzlichkeit in jedem Detail.

Auch wenn man der französischen Sprache nicht ganz mächtig ist, fühlt man sich hier absolut willkommen. Mit Händen, Füßen und einem Lächeln klappt die Verständigung wunderbar – nie unangenehm, immer herzlich. Der Besitzer ist hilfsbereit, freundlich und einfach authentisch.

Ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen, Genießen und Wiederkommen. Uneingeschränkt...
