Roc Land Restaurant Hôtel Discothèque — Restaurant in Fougères-Vitré

We came from mount Saint Michel quite late and in heavy rain.|Luckily we found this place, not far away.|The hotel is situated in a beautiful green setting with a big pond and has a large parking area in front. Very convenient.|The reception was welcoming.|Coming to the room, it was spotless. We could open the windows and had a magnificent view to the pond. And very nice that we could leave our window open during the night because of the shutters.|The beds were really comfortable to our taste.|Apparently the hotel also has a very good restaurant, but as we arrived quite late, we didnt make use of it.|One last thing: the staff was very friendly and did everything they could to make our stay...

Having had property in the area since 1991 I knew of Roc'land a couple of weekends I went with friends for Sunday lunch.||There was a huge choice, great food, excellent service. We did seem to be the youngest people there I will be 68 on Friday! However the older Bretons do tend to dress very traditionally. Nevertheless everyone was having a good time. There are three disco areas and one was in full swing for people with learning difficulties at 2 o'clock on a Sunday afternoon. The gardens are a delight. I will return, we have tried unsuccessfully to book on a Saturday night for the set menu and drink as much as you like type...
