We first ate in L'accord Parfait in APRIL 2025 for my husband's birthday. We got a table for 12. I read that service is slow so what we did is order for everyone to share in one go including drinks. Everything came together & everyone enjoyed the TOMAHAWK which is great value for money. But the stars were the CRISPY SQUID & LA POTENCE.
The LE COQUELET was dry & LA SALADE DE CHĂVRE CHAUD was cold so I don't recommend those.
We liked dining in because there is no smoking allowed and the wait staff - the Spanish speaking ones - were very attentive.
Fast forward to yesterday AUGUST 2025, we decided to eat there for my son's birthday & found that they only have OUTDOOR DINING. We got a table for 7.
We mentioned that I was severely allergic to cigarette smoke & had asthma so they put us in the table at the edge of their outdoor seating. Good thing I had a huge fan, coz I would just fan the cigarette smoke away.
The MEAT PAELLA was surprisingly delicious. The LA POTENCE was mostly juicy except for the pieces that were cut too thinly which made them dry. The CRISPY SQUID still tasted good, but was a bit too oily so we only finished one of the 2 that we ordered. We asked to take home the excess PAELLA & a bowl full of CRISPY SQUID.
Initially the staff was taking our orders no problem, but after the first time it was really hard to get their attention. Hardly anybody passed by once we finished the mains. My husband had to go to the staff to get the dessert menu, to make the order and ask them to place the birthday candles on the dessert.
Not only did it take so long for us to get the TAKEAWAY food (we had already paid and were leaving... we had to ask for the takeaway by approaching the staff again). When we got home, all they packed was the little paella we had left and the entire order of CRISPY SQUID worth 19 euros was gone. We were really looking forward to having it for lunch the next day.
I appreciated how they sang happy birthday to our son & I think he will remember this with joy forever, but I was really hoping for the same service we got the first time coz we really want to have a place for special moments & gatherings...
Read moreWe tried this place new to us for my mumâs 89th Birthday đ đ đ in April this year 2025.
I was the host and had planned ahead and made the reservation a few weeks prior. We were 4 people and I had asked to be in a more quiet corner so my mother wouldnât be in noisy surroundings.
(At trying to get a confirmation by phone the night before, I get it that this place can be extremely crowded and service not always as friendly. But hey, itâs a tough job! I know, been there as a teen.)
Anyway, we were warmly welcome đđœ by a very kind, understanding and friendly team of waiters and waitresses, we had a wonderful experience both visually đ€©(the decor, the walk in the woods right after, etc.) and financially as I was pleasantly surprised by the bill. đ§Ÿ đ„°
Let me get to the heart of it since a restaurantâs quality lays in the content of the plates đ
Extremely generous portions -even my son, 26, whoâs a drummer and has a quite solid appetite couldnât have had another bite after an onion soup, a âcoquelet rotiâ with French fries and a dessert. My Swiss Sister had a piece of meat that was very enjoyable to her taste buds and my mother and I, who donât eat meat at all and both have restricted diets (gluten free and lactose free) had salmon with risotto for her and veggies for me. All delicious đ A tad bit too much salt on the veggies yet again a very tasty, well prepared and presented with care, originality and thoughtfulness âŁïž
Will now share some visuals that speak louder than any words.
Keya.
PS: I would recommend that you took care of your table reservation and choose a timing that is appropriate if you do not wish to be exposed to too much noise. Also, the team was very attentive to the special needs because I had planned ahead. If you arrive at 2pm and thd kitchen is closed, well, the team does have a life đ Looking forward to trying the...
Read moreYesterday, we decided to try a restaurant in our neighborhood after reading good reviews online. Since it was the last day of our vacation and we were craving meat (because we couldnât BBQ at the campsite), we thought it would be a great idea. We made a lunch reservation for 1:30 PM for all of us, including our two toddlers.
We were really looking forward to it, but the moment we arrived, the waitress wasnât very welcomingâshe didnât smile at all. She asked if we had a reservation, and after we said yes, she led us to our table. From the start, her answers felt unfriendly.
We got settled, placed our order, and actually had a nice spot where we could see the kitchen and watch the food being prepared. When the food came, it looked great, but again the waitress served it with a cold attitudeâno smile, no âenjoy your meal,â nothing. Normally, that small gesture makes such a big difference.
Instead of fully enjoying the good food and satisfying our cravings, we found ourselves talking about her cold treatment. We couldnât help but wonder if it was because weâre tourists and spoke English. Usually, when staff are friendly, it makes us enjoy the restaurant and the food even more.
The food was good, but unfortunately, the experience with the staff left us with an...
