L'Ostréa — Restaurant in Grasse

I arrived at the restaurant at 13:30 but was not asked what I wanted to drink until 15 minutes later. By that time, I had decided what to eat and I placed my order at 13:50. My food arrived at 14:27, some 37 minutes later. The surroundings were very pleasant and the food was OK. Appalling service. Two tables that arrived after me recieved their food before me. After I recieved the bill, no one came near me to take payment, I had to take the bill to the cashier myself.

** 9 June: In response to owner's comments: If you think that you were too busy to accomodate guests that did not have a booking, you should have told us so.

There is bound to be a wait the owner says: but other people who arrived after us had a much shorter wait than I did.

The owner now recommends canned food; odd.

Considering the restaurant was only half full, I would hate to see the wait times when the establishment was full; a two hour wait I...

Client du passé, la derniere en début d’été 2024 ne nous avez pas convaincue, service long et imprécis et plat bon mais simple. Au détour de ce dimanche midi nous sommes retourner manger et là du changement Un nouveau patron, de nouvelles têtes et un délice ! Les huîtres fidèles à eux même, mais du côté cuisine des nouveautés, avec toujours l’ardoise des suggestions, mais totalement inédite et juste excellente ☺️ Nous avons opter pour une dégustation d’entrée ( toutes aussi bonnes les unes qu les autres, mention au poulpe yuzu et chorizo) avec des fines de claires. En suite mon mari c’est régale avec des noix de st Jacques avec un risotto snackee ( qui voit le détour, jamais vue auparavant) et la faim m’a encore appeler en goûtant leur ceviche de daurade royale et lait de coco qui était délicieux ! Comme on l’a dit en partant, ne changez rien, c’était parfait...
