We ate here on Friday lunchtime. We were lucky to get a seat at 1230 as it is very popular with the locals and passing cyclists. We had avocado to start with beef stew and roast chicken off the plat du jour menu. The meals were accompanied by ratatouille and courgette beignets. Really tasty and satisfying food. Service was friendly but a bit slow as it was so busy (we were warned it would be though). The only thing to be aware of is that it is cash or cheque only- be prepared. We didn’t have dessert as we needed to get on the road but they looked delicious too. A really lucky find.

We were lost and looking for food desperately before the waterfall hike. Everything was closed at 14.30. Very nice and kind man and woman in Sophie's bistro offered us great full meal from their fridge, lasagna, salad, drinks for very fair price. On top of everything the food was very tasty and healthy! They saved us!! Thank you so much!

One of the best small Bistros in Provence, and maybe in France! Great food and great service at a reasonable price. Rested in the small pittoresque city Coursegoule.

Congratulations, you've been awarded the title of slowest restaurant in France ! Today, during a sunny lunch at the end of June, it took half an hour to get the starter, another half hour to get the entrée, yet another half hour to get the dessert. By the time I got the check, it was time for dinner !! The lady serving is not a professional water, she mentioned working in a clothes shop nearby. It is quite obvious from looking at her waiting on tables that she has not yet started building a sense for coordinating bringing stuff and taking stuff away : half of the time, she was carrying an empty tray... And her most frequent response to her patrons asking for things she forgot was "5 minutes"... The food was average, tiny portions way too salty. The dessert contained no sugar and the coffee was "Arabo": bitter, warm water. ...
