At the night of arrival, stayed two nights at the Château, I had dinner with three friends of mine at this Brasserie with stunning view to the golf court. The choices of the Menu is not very rich, the prices are Côte d'Azur (kind of expensive), but all dishes we ordered were stunningly decorated, with good portions and prepared with lot´s of love and eye to detail. Especially my risotto was probably the best I have ever had! Also my friends their dishes were extremely tasteful. (Unfortunately didn´t take pictures of the dishes...) The staff of this Brasserie is kind, helpful and at the same time not too present when you don´t want them to be. They should give it a bit more TLC, with new decoration, (please take the pink led lights from the tables away) new furniture and exterior cooling system (it was extremely hot that night). With that being said, Brasserie la Bégude has everything to become quickly a Michelin star rated restaurant!
2nd visit in October 2022: After my first visit in June this year, this restaurant tasted for more. This time a lunch instead of dinner and the menu is more limited, however all what is available is made with the same love and dedication. Amazing to see that the restaurant invested in new outside furniture, so much more comfortable. This lunch would have been perfect if they could controlled a bit more, read better, their clients from the sun. If the food was already amazing the first time, then now I´m without words regarding the ravioli. As simple as it seems on the plate, this most be the most delicious ravioli I ever experienced! The deserts are a winners as well and most been tried when visiting this Michelin-star- deserved restaurant! I will be back...
Read moreI visited the restaurant last September and was so impressed my wife and I visited today. They simply keep on improving in all aspects. (1st) the lunch menu today was a home smoked salmon cut thickly and made into rings with a cream sauce laced with orange juice. The salmon had a filling of I believe tapenade and it was delicious and very different. The main cotse was cod cooked to perfection with a superb sauce and small potatoes boiled in their skins, plus cherry tomatoes. The desert was a large biscuit filled with cream. The service was fantastic and having been involved in high tech turnarounds as CEO i spotted a team that were motivated and worked well together. Our waiter was a student from Chile (were there is a relationship with Begude) The individual was still learning English and had picked up a little French but he really tried hard and it was nice for my wife to appreciate the adventure he was taking to come to France to learn the trade..very heart warming! I take my hat off to the management of this establishment and the attention to detail they clearly have ..highly recommended and it only cost...

Arrivée à 13h sur réservation, le premier plat (menu enfant) est arrivé à 14h30, les autres plats sont arrivés au compte goutte ensuite. Ayant commandé un apéritif et compte tenu du temps d'attente, nous avons demandé des amuse-bouches de type Olive, chips, cacahuètes que nous n'avons jamais eu! D'habitude j'apprécie les restaurants qui ne proposent pas une multitude de choix, mais ici sur les 6 plats à la carte proposés il en manquait 2. Bien évidemment, nous l'avons appris une fois notre choix fait. Il s'en suit une discussion ubuesque pour pouvoir accéder, en remplacement de notre premier choix, à des plats du menu spécial "fête des mères". Ce qui n'a pas été possible!!! Un grand merci au serveur qui a tout fait pour sauver cette situation désastreuse. Concernant la nourriture, les plats étaient bien préparés mais rien de particulier. Les tatakis de thon étaient trop cuits. Pour résumer, un manque de professionnalisme et de personnel évident dans un établissement qui tente de se la jouer restaurant chic.
