We were a group of nine with advanced reservation. We had drinks, main plate, deserts, and ordered a 79 euros bottle of wine as well. Overall prices are on the higher end but the service was far from it… The apéritif were 7 to 9.9 euros, main plates around 35 euros, deserts 9 euros. Average price/adult was over 60 euros. For the plates fish was over cooked, so dry and difficult to remove the skin. After struggling to remove the burnt&dried parts there were very little left to eat; not to mention the vegetables went with it was only in diameter of a female finger. Beef steak was tough and chewy and we had it medium rare. But the worst of all it was the terrible experience of the owners attitude. From the beginning I often hear her shout “shut up” to the children when they went around or asked her questions. During the main plate, their friendly dog kept coming to our table, when I’m the table, so there was no more for legs. We ask if they could call their dog elsewhere, the owner came and only 20 mins afterwards. When she arrived, she saw a napkin fell on the floor and immediately started complaining out loud that we fed the dog on the floor that’s why it kept coming to us. This was NOT true at all! After the main plate we saw a storm coming with dark clouds and lighting. So we asked repeatedly if we could move indoor. Though there over a dozen empty tables inside they told us there is no space, and we should remain outside until it rains (what is this?) Then after at least 20-30 minutes waiting came the deserts so did the pouring rain and strong wind. So they told us to “pick up your plates and move to the terrace, because there is no space inside” (only over a dozen empty tables, occupy by… AIR?) but on the terrace there was only a table for 4 people (and we were 9!) the tinny cover could not stop the pouring rain, and the worst of all, the grandmother among us, each holding on our dish, was tripped by the umbrella stand and fall badly on the ground, hit her head, elbow, and knee (the next day there were big patch of bruises) broke the plate, got jam all over her hair and clothes. It shocked all of us! The owner was with us when it happened, busy saving her table wears, did NOTHING ABOUT IT, claimed she didn’t see what happened, and continued telling us to STAY OUTSIDE instead of bring the injured elderly indoor! So all of us were wet, under the rain and wind, looking the empty room inside restaurant because the owner clearly doesn’t want us to dirty or wet the beautiful setting, which worth more to her then the customers. At the end we got fed up and went inside, and the owner only shut to us “close the door!” Once we were inside, they cleared up the nice decorations on ONE 4 people TABLE and tell ALL OF US this is for you 9! (Meanwhile there were still over a dozen empty tables!!!!!) We got fed up again so clear out a table by ourselves to sit down. By now, some 15-20 mins after the storm started, they started to serve the remaining of deserts, but the ice cream first 4 plates. Around 20 mins after the GREAT FALL, Finally the owner came with a bottle of spray and cream and said she’s sorry, but she didn’t remember shutting at us that we must waiting for our turn to be seated while we were outside in the pouring rain… nothing but excuses. Overall there were nothing worth the money, only rude attitude and under average food. But we still came out with a HUG BILL!!! We should have spent the money elsewhere and send them the medical bill….

Much to expensive. The dishes came not at the same time. Even the salad for one of the dishes came after the main dish. When we came in shorts an T-Shirt, it was not possible to get a table inside, although the restaurant was empty. Most likely the restaurant was prepared for the weekly candle light dinner - but nobody came.... The French fries have been very soft, the nuggets for the children have been hard as a stone. My duck burger costs 35 €, in Paris it would be much cheaper and better. Also, a big Bernadiner dog stand the whole time very close at our table - the children liked it, but not the parents... If I look at the total sum of 120 €, it was a Desaster. Additionally, the terrace is located toward the departmental street, which was noisy. Nice view onto the mountains.

From the beginning I often hear her shout “shut up” to the children when they went around or asked her questions.

SCAN-DA-LEUX !!!
