Donât get fooled by the self service area which is messy, noisy and uncomfortable. Go to the back section which is a surprisingly amazing restaurant on top of the mountain. The view on the Vercors mountains is great, the seats are comfortable, the area much quieter than the self service. In terms of food I was totally amazed by the quality and quantity of the serving. I had the cooked cheese with cold cuts and salad and it was one of the best that I ever tasted. Their desserts are also excellent. Last and not least the service was top notch, kind and very attentive to our needs. Note that you donât need to ski to eat there, just take a visitor pass and jump on the cable car going straight to the restaurant at 2250m altitude (itâs a beautiful ride by the way). Price very much ok, you wouldnât eat cheaper in an average restaurant in Paris. Hence I give them a 5 stars, very much deserved. Would certainly go there again....

Tried to reserve a spot upfront. Not possible. Came by in the afternoon for lunch - 75% of the terras was free and a couple inside tables where also empty.
Yet after 10 minute wait before anybody was willing to seat us we simply got the answer that it was full. And that we should go and eat in the self serf restaurant.
Conclusion: Avoid the place at all costs when it even looks a little bit busy. Yes the views are amazing - but this is just horrible service compared with the restaurants at the foot of the mountain.
We also ate the self serve food. There at least was a friendly person - but the quality of food was serieusly lacking. Even for an on ski...

Thereâs a restaurant with al fresco eating and drinking which feels surprisingly warm even in February when thereâs no wind. Itâs also much more sensibly priced than other âmountain topâ bars/restaurants.
